Sajad Lone raises alarm over harassment of Kashmiri workers in Arunachal Pradesh

J&K Peoples Conference President and MLA Handwara Sajad Lone on Friday expressed serious concern over reports of harassment faced by residents of his constituency who travel to other parts of the country for livelihood.

Terming the situation troubling, Lone said he has personally received distress calls from inhabitants of his constituency currently working in Arunachal Pradesh.

Highlighting that such migration has been a long-standing tradition for people of the district, PC President emphasized that their safety and dignity must be ensured at all costs by the Central Government.

He appealed to Union Home Minister Amit Shah to take urgent notice of the matter and intervene to guarantee the safety and well-being of the affected individuals.
