Poem -01 ( April 2025)
FINE LINES-
By Dr. Sunil Kaushal
My odyssey is to live and love,
drink ambrosia churning oceans.
Exploring the fine lines defining the waters
inked on the globe sitting on my desk.
I daydream.
The cool waters separate land mines.
Ragged, jagged
barbed, barricaded,
guarded and sharded lines
puncture velvety blisters
cloud eyes,
fumes of putrid human tatters flag
the winning post
on electric wires
mute testimony to botched lines,
stretched beyond human needs.
My eyes see pink and rose as one
suffering and pleasure
flip sides of the same
buds and branches growing on one tree
the same sap birthing bud by bud
red streaming under white and black skin
male and female born of wombs akin.
I like fine lines that etch smiles
morph not into frowns
if lean days come by.
Naysayers can go find another one
this whole world is my home
I shall not cleave it.
