Sartaj Madni Strongly condemned the act of administration to stop Ms Mehbooba Mufti along with other leaders from meeting families of 3 civilians killed in Poonch

Srinagar :Dec 30: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman Parliamentary Board Mohammad Sartaj Madni Strongly condemned the admission on selective approach and stopped PDP president and former Chief minister Ms Mehbooba Mufti from meeting the families of three people found dead a day after being picked up for questioning by the Army following a terror attack in Poonch last week. Sartaj Madni said that Ms Mehbooba Mufti was enroute to Poonch’s Surankote area for Condolence and to show the solidarity with the families of brutally killed in custody among Safeer Hussain (43), Mohd Showket (27) and Shabir Ahmad (32) – were picked up by the Army for questioning later. They were found dead the next day. Mohammad Sartaj Madni condemn the cowardly act of administration and asked why PDP treated selectively and questioned the decision of the administration to place restrictions on Ms Mehbooba Mufti while allowing BJP president Ravinder Raina and NC leaders to meet the victims’ families recently.
