Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Friday, March 20, 2026, as the crescent moon marking the beginning of the month of Shawwal 1447 AH was not sighted anywhere in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.

According to reports, the holy month of Ramadan will complete 30 days on Thursday, following which Eid-ul-Fitr will be observed the next day.
“In Saudi Arabia, the Shawwal crescent was not sighted today; hence Ramadan will complete 30 days and Eid will be on Friday,” a post by Inside the Haramain on X said.
