Srinagar, Nov 14 : Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Pandurang K Pole on Monday said that schools will remain open as long as heavy snow falls.
Pole was speaking to reporters during inaugural ceremony of Indus Bank in Hari Singh High Street, Srinagar. He said the schools in Kashmir valley will continue its classes till there is no heavy snowfall.
“The schools will remain open till there is no heavy snowfall in Kashmir”, Div Com told reporters.
Earlier Director School Education Kashmir, Dr Tasaduq Hussain also maintained that schools will remain open in Kashmir till weather permits.
