Seasons first major rain/snow is expected over J&K during 08-11 October

Srinagar 02 Oct : Mostly dry weather is expected until October 05 across the J&K. Afterwards indications of strong Western Disturbance may affect Jammu & Kashmir during 08–11 October.

The season’s first major spell of rain and snowfall is possible across J&K during this period current possibility (55%) . Snowfall is mainly expected over higher reaches, while rain may occur in plains and lower areas.

This is an early indication, and the exact timing and intensity may change as the system gets closer.
