Srinagar, Dec 8,(k Pen) — As part of the ongoing Annual Day 2025 Festival Week celebrations, Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) today organised a series of activities dedicated to sanitation, fire preparedness, and security awareness.

The Department of Hospital Administration led the initiative, featuring a special skit on fire safety preparedness with the active participation of both sanitation and security personnel. A comprehensive cleanliness drive was simultaneously conducted across the hospital premises by the Sanitation Department, reaffirming SKIMS’ focus on hygiene, patient care, and a healthy hospital environment.

A fire drill involving security staff was also held to strengthen institutional emergency response readiness and enhance staff capability in handling crisis situations.
