Talking to media on the sideline of installation of Selfie point, Artist Rouble Negi told media, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the motive for installing the selfie point is to connect the people through public art.

“When you see a good and gloomy spot on the road, you usually stop and take a selfie there. Likewise, this Poloview market is a historic market as tourists from all over the world as well as locals from different parts of Kashmir come to visit the market,” she said.

“We have started from #Kashmir, then #Srinagar, #DalLake and now we are installing #Poloview here. The best thing about this tag is, it has a horse in the ending of this Tag and we will be installing that after some time,” she added.

She said that they want many more hastags to be installed in Kashmir and it will promote the art and also become a point of attraction for people
