SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 16 (K Pen): TechKnow 2025, the valley’s largest school technology festival, witnessed a landmark moment with the unveiling of SHAFAAT, the first Humanoid AI Robot created by school students. The innovative project was developed by young minds — Hamaad, Nesaan, and Mohsin of Delhi Public School Srinagar — and stood out as the star attraction of the event.
The festival brought together students from 32 government and private schools across the valley, who showcased a diverse range of innovative projects in robotics, AI, environmental solutions, and emerging technologies. The atmosphere was vibrant, reflecting the growing passion for science and technology among Kashmiri youth.
Prominent dignitaries, including Shri Vijay Dhar, Kiran Dhar, Prof. Nazir Ahmad Ganai (Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-K), Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, and educationist Manmohan Singh Gauri, attended the festival and lauded the creativity and innovation demonstrated by the students.
