Srinagar, Aug 31 : Former Deputy Mayor Sheikh Imran has alleged a magistrate of unlawfully raiding his office located at MA Link Road, Sangarmall.
In a statement issued here, Imran alleged that the magistrate’s actions were both illegal and harassing, describing the incident as a clear case of targeted harassment against his political activities.
“A blatant abuse of authority!
A magistrate unlawfully and illegally stormed my office at MA Link Road- Sangarmall, harassing my team and violating personal spaces.
This is clear, targeted harassment against my political activities in my office,” he said.
“I demand immediate action and an inquiry from @ECISVEEP. How can we trust these elections to be free and fair if officials can intimidate candidates, workers, and interfere with the electoral,” he said.
