A short story book “Khaabu Ki Kasak” was unveiled at the Urdu department of University of Kashmir on Thursday.

The book “Khaabu Ki Kasak ” is authored by Dr Mohammad Younis and was released at Kashmir University by the Department of Urdu at Central Conference hall of Distance Education Department.

Author is a noted Doctor and is currently working as a Medical Officer in Health department.

The event was attended by Registrar, University of Kashmir, Nisar Ahmed and Head Urdu Department, Dr Mahammad Aijaz and other eminent personalities were present on the occasion.

Shakeel Maqbool Yatoo, Additional Commissioner State Taxes Department, Salman Qazi, Director Doordarshan, Saqib Yusuf Yatoo Chief Area Manager, Kashmir Railways, Dr Salim Khan HOD community medicine GMC Srinagar.

Dr. Younis told Rising Kashmir that the book covers a diverse range of stories, will engage young minds and broaden their literary horizons. Short stories provide an accessible format for students to practice their reading skills, he said.
