‘Shushur – The Frozen Times’ Receives Special Jury Mention at Kashmir World Film Festival

Srinagar, Nov 7: The film ‘Shushur – The Frozen Times’ has been honoured with the Special Jury Mention Award at the Kashmir World Film Festival (KWFF), celebrating its cinematic excellence and storytelling depth.

Expressing gratitude, filmmaker Gul Reyaz said, “I sincerely thank the esteemed jury members of the festival, especially Festival Director Mushtaaque Ali Ahmad Khan, for this recognition. My heartfelt gratitude also goes to the entire team of Shushur – The Frozen Times for their dedication and hard work.”

The film, produced and directed by Gul Reyaz under the banner of Mayur Arts International, was written by Faiyaz Dilbar and Sohan Kaul, with cinematography by Arvind Singh, DI and VFX by Ashiq Hussain, and music composed by Mohammad Mazhar.

The executive producers include Shahid Lateef, Jahanzeb Gul, and Hafeez Hafiz, while the cast features talented actors such as Neha Lahotra, Saniya Mir, and Mir Sarwar.

The recognition at KWFF underscores the growing strength and creativity of Kashmiri cinema, which continues to captivate audiences through stories rooted in local culture yet resonating universally.
