Srinagar, Aug 12: The State Investigation Agency (SIA) Kashmir on Wednesday conducted searches at nine locations across Jammu and Kashmir in connection with a 1990 double-murder case.

The searches were carried out in connection with FIR No. 45/1990, registered at Police Station Dooru in Anantnag district. The case has now been taken up for investigation by the SIA.

The searches were conducted as part of the ongoing investigation into the case.

On May 1, 1990, Sarvanand Koul Premi (66) and his younger son, Verinder, were shot dead in Anantnag, a day after being abducted from their village.
