SKUAST-K, Krishi Vigyan Kendra Budgam today organized a one-day Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) on ‘Entrepreneurship Opportunities in Milk Processing and Value Addition Industry’ for tribal farmers of Shanglipora, Khag Budgam.
The awareness programme was approved by Director Planning and Monitoring SKUAST-Kashmir and sponsored by Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME), GoI.
The programme was designed to sensitize and build entrepreneurial mindset among the farmers/rural youth in the dairy industry. A total of 70 tribal farmers/rural youth from the said area were sensitized.
During the programme, Dr. Bilal Ahmad Lone (Sr. Scientist & Head KVK Budgam) stressed upon the need of up-skilling of youth for instilling an entrepreneurship spirit among the people especially in Dairy Industry.
