Snow not cleared from link roads in Kangan

Ganderbal, Jan 7 : Residents of Akhal area today complained that the authorities did not clear the snow from the link road of Akhal to Nilla najwan “We are facing hardships as the snow has accumulated on link road of akhal to Nilla najwan of Kangan area of district ganderbal. This has restrained our movement as the authorities did not clear the link/inner roads,” a local of the area said.
The Srinagar-Ladakh and Srinagar-Sonamarg road has already been closed for traffic. It was snowing when this report was filed.
Locals residents appealed concerned authorities to look into the maatter and clear snow from road so residents of akhal can’t suffer in this Harsh winter.
