The 434-km Srinagar-Leh highway was closed on Tuesday due to fresh snowfall in Zojila.

An official said that on Saturday evening, the higher reaches of Kashmir including Drass received fresh snowfall.
He said due to this fresh snowfall at Mani marg, Drass and Zojila the authorities closed traffic on the highway as a precautionary measure.
As per local reports large number of vehicles are stranded in Sonamarg after road closed.
