A renowned Socio-Political activist and Youth member Bunjwah Mr. Aftab Zakir Keen, today calls upon Chief engineer PMGSY Jammu Shri Rajan Mengi and congratulated him on assigning the new posting with a banquet of flower and than raises various issues related to road connectivity of Bunjwah area.
While having a detailed discussion on Bunjwah road, Mr. Keen said that the ongoing work since 2018 is on a very slow pace wherein the 26km road length has not been properly maintained and blacktopped for three years. Adding that the condition of Bunjwah road is worsening day by day as the concerned agencies and contractors are using sub-standard material.
Mr. Keen further added that the blacktop portion of the road is damaged at various locations within six months as no proper material and sealing is done by the contractor.
Keen demanded the execution of earthwork on Patnazi Kither road and speed up the work on a fast track basis in a time-bound manner. Keen also apprised Chief Engineer that a majority of the population is unconnected from road connectivity and there is demand for sanctioning of the road from Nali to Dehni Pattan Gharsil and Know Morh to Ikhwah EidGah.
