22 years old girl pens her poetry book ‘Zoon’ THE HEART OF HABBA KHATOON”. The book launch was organized by Guide The Professionals in collaboration with Institution of Advanced Studies, powered by Adorable faces of Kashmir, Peace Welfare Foundation, Kash Foundation and Felix Passion.
Srinagar, Dec 19: A book launch event was held at B.ed college M A road Srinagar. The book”zoon ” written by Miss Soliha Shabir was launched in the event in presence of various renowed personalities who came in the event and applauded the aspiring writer . Soliha who is 23 year old hailing from soura has penned down life of Habba khatoon through various poems.
The event started at 11:30 with kashmiri traditional izband ceremony after which various programmes were arranged by the organisers of the event including music performances by many musical bands after which the book was launched in the presence of author Miss soliha ,DySP Sheikh Adil, ADC Kashmir Hanief Balkhi , Zareef ahmed Zareef well renowed writer,Mehmeet Syed ,Miss saba from kaash foundation.The author mentioned her ups and downs while writing the book .
While talking to media , Soliha said,”Zoon aspired me in real life.I could relate to Haba khatoon’s struggles and miseries. I wanted to write about her since I was in class 9.This book was a small step to let people know about zoon’s life . She further added ,”I wrote this book in English so that more and more youth can read about her and get inspiration. Her devotion to Sufism is something people must read”.
