A Delhi court has announced the punishment for the culprits convicted for the murder of TV journalist Soumya Vishwanathan. Four convicts have been sentenced to life imprisonment. Apart from this, fine has also been imposed. After concluding arguments on the punishment of the convicts on Friday, the court had reserved its verdict for November 25. Vishwanathan, who worked for a leading English news channel, was shot dead on the morning of September 30, 2008, on Nelson Mandela Road in south Delhi, while she was returning home from work. The police claimed that the motive was robbery.
