South Kashmir: Former panch shot at, injured in Qazigund

Unknown gunmen shot at and injured a former panch of National Conference Nazir Ahmad Shah in Qazigund area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

ADVERTISEMENT

An official said that gunmen opened fire at Shah in his native Panzath village of Qazigund. He sustained a bullet injury in his leg.

He was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment where his condition is stated to be stable.
