A gunfight broke out between the militants and the security forces in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday, police said.

In a statement on Twitter, a police spokesman said that the gunfight broke out in Asthal area of the district.
“Police and the security forces on job. Further details shall follow,” read the tweet.
