Sports: MLA Batamaloo announces a reward of Rs fifty thousand each to two football and Teakwando teams

Srinagar, Aug 26 : A football match between Food Supplies and Transport was organized by Grass Root Football at Khadi Mill Ground in Alochi Bagh Srinagar on Saturday.

    Besides MLA Batamaloo Noor Muhammad, District Magistrate Srinagar Syed Abid Rashid, Vice Chairman SRTC Haji Parvez, senior PDP leader Nizamuddin Bhat, Director CAPD Nisar Ahmed Wani and Joint Secretary Youth Service and Sports Nazir Ahmed and others were present on this occasion.

    The match ended in a draw as both the team scored a goal each.

     MLA Batamaloo, Noor Muhammad Sheikh announced Rs fifty thousand each for both the teams. He also sanctioned Rs fifty thousand for Taekwondo team from his Constituency Development Fund.

    He also assured the locals that Khadi Mill Ground will be developed as a special sports field.
