Srinagar: The 69th National School Games-2025 were inaugurated today at TRC Stadium, Srinagar, with over 4,000 young athletes from across India participating. The Games feature a wide array of sporting events, including Football, Wushu, Taekwondo, and Table Tennis.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah lauded the efforts of the Youth Services and Sports Department for their meticulous preparations. He expressed his best wishes to all participants and reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to promoting sports and youth engagement throughout Jammu and Kashmir.

“The Government remains firmly committed to fostering talent and encouraging sports among the youth of the region,” the CM said.
