As part of Civic Action Programme (CAP) of J&K Police, SSP Anantnag Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy flagged off a week-long Bharat Darshan Tour for a group of 68 students from District Anantnag.
The students are accompanied by 05 Police officials who will serve as their caretakers and guides throughout the journey.
The flag-off ceremony was held at District Police Lines Anantnag, where SSP Anantnag formally sent off the students. The event was attended by other officers and officials of Anantnag Police.
In his address to the students, SSP Anantnag encouraged them to take full advantage of this opportunity to broaden their knowledge by visiting the country’s historical landmarks and marvels. He emphasized the importance of understanding and appreciating the greatness of India, particularly its unity in diversity.
The tour is being organized by District Police Anantnag, which is providing all necessary arrangements including boarding, lodging, and air travel. During the tour, the students will visit several historical sites in Mumbai and New Delhi. Both the Students and their Parents expressed their gratitude to Police for this initiative, thanking them for the chance to explore these renowned cities.
