SSP said from last 45 days, Jammu and Kashmir Police is on toes to ensure lockdown restrictions successfully. “Srinagar district has extra burden as it has lot of pressure from neighboring districts, Besides huge flow of medical referrals from far off places of Valley, we have to contain incoming and outgoing traffic of Parimpora Fruit Mandi that supplies fruits and vegetables across Kashmir on regular basis.

Also there are employees from other district who are using Srinagar on daily basis, which J&K Police has to manage regularly”, he said. He appealed people in general that whosoever returned Valley after February 14, to reveal their travel history to nearest police station or health centre where they will be thoroughly screened and checked.
