Stay at Home : MeT predicts spell of rains from today

The Meteorological Department has predicted a spell of rains with thunderstorm in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir today.

Director MeT Sonam Lotus said ” Currently weather is generally cloudy in  all three regions.

There is possibility of a spell of rain with thunderstorm in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir today,” Lotus said adding that rain with thunderstorm is likely to continue at scattered places of J&K (mainly towards late afternoon and evening ) during next three days whereas weather is most likely to remain mainly dry during April 11 and 12.

“Thereafter, another spell is likely during April 13 and 14 when light snow is also possible at some places of Zanskar region of Kargil district,”.  There is no forecast of any heavy rain or snow during this week, Lotus said.
