The minister for education Syed Muhammad Altaf Bukhari on Saturday said the school students opting for private coaching was an insult to the teachers.

“If I was a teacher and my students would opt for private coaching, I would take it as an insult to myself,” the education minister said during the launch of peace module for education department prepared by ‘Save the Children’ at SKICC.

“Parents should also think over it and stop sending their children for private coaching,” he said.

He said parents snatch peace of mind from students by keeping them busy with academics in schools and later at private coaching centres.

“Students can’t be at peace when they remain busy in schools and at private coaching centres,” he said.
