Many voluntary organizations are working for the welfare of human being by organizing events, programs and campaigns across the country. I witness some great initiatives & achievements on different TV channels and other social media network. These initiatives focusing a particular community belong to an area as per the policy and target groups. As far as NDTV New Delhi Television is concerned, its special project on “Banega Swasth Bharat”, “Kushalta Ke Kadam”, “Justice for every child”, “Freedom for all”, “Icons of Bharat” & “Unlock Education” are not human specific but also covering all types of species living on this piece of land. Its recent award ceremony on the 75th of Indian Independence the True Legend award “Future of Young India” covering the persons belongs to different fields and organizations. The winners selected by voting of viewers and hours spent by jury to judge the work done by each nominee of True Legends for the year 2022. Out of nine primary categories of business innovation, entertainment, environment, governance, music, medicine, social work, sports & start up tech two were special category award. Reputed personalities across globe, Hollywood and Bollywood actors like Shah Rukh Khan were seen as invitees to benefit the society by their visionary views & expressions. Bollywood Badshah’s Philanthropic step to donate some amount to the families of victims is a regular feature to spread lesson of humanity. A twenty year old woman was killed in hit & run incident North-West Delhi survived by her mother & siblings sole earner of the family was taken care of by the actor. Each campaign was found equal space at par with other profitable programmes broadcasted on the channel seems a success story of these great initiatives. That is the reason that many reputed companies of country supported and contributed for the well managed events besides involvement of high profile people male, female or transgender. The National Transgender Awards for 2023 were recently held in the National Capital with the goal of creating a more inclusive society. Justice Arum Mishra Chairperson of National Human Rights Commission India attended the award ceremony as Chief Guest. In case of “Banega Swasth India campaign” an extension of five year old Banega Swachh India initiative having an impressive Campaigner Amitabh Bachan for its success. India’s most iconic Bollywood actor starred in more than 190 films is country’s most loved, admired and respected celebrity having massive public following. A powerful advocate for social & development causes has featured in many campaigns raising awareness among the people regarding community problems. The main objective is improvement in health conditions & subsequent increase in the average age of the people of India from 74 to 100. The channel choose a particular company for a particular campaign like USHA for “Kushalta Ke Kadam” encourage women empowerment of rural areas to become entrepreneurs in cutting & tailoring and other related job oriented skill training. The “Justice for every child” campaign of NDTV alongwith Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation launched pan India campaign on awareness on Child Marrige with an objective to reduce the level from 23% to 10%. Talking about “freedom for all” was an amazing campaign holds good for Kashmir valley also surrounded by mountains, thick forests & many spices of wild life animals. It has been agreed globally that there is urgent need to support the measures to safeguard the interests of animals and raise voice against inhuman treatment with them. Animals in large scale were sacrificed for illegal trade, used for lab experiments hence facing severe exploitation needs immediate attention and awareness campaigns. It has been proved & observed that the current burning issues like global warming, environment pollution and other health issues are mainly due to issues concerning to save the interests of animals. The campaign “freedom for all” aims to protect animals and fight their dignity & sentiments so that we will be able to protect the globe. Unemployment problem is a main source of many crude social evils. We need to initiate a large scale campaign in order to tackle with this burning issue of in collaboration with corporate & industrial sector companies for self employment lift so that we will be able to eradicate & manage the unemployment problem at gross root level.
