The members of Darul-Khair Mirwaiz Manzil have expressed gratitude to their volunteers for distributing food kits and other essential items among the poor and needy during the lockdown due to coronavirus pandemic.
These volunteers are working on ground for their selfless service and with consistent dedication, Darul-Khair said in a statement.
It said the food distribution continues as ‘feed a family’ initiative during Ramadan where, in coordination with Mohalla and Masjid committees, basic food requirements for a month are being distributed among each needy family.
“This includes rice, atta, pulses, tea, oil, sugar, spices, milk powder, soap detergents, etc costing roughly Rs. 2500 per family,” Darul-Khair said.
