Supreme Court last hope of people of J&K: PDP leader Rouf Bhat on Art 370

Srinagar, Dec 08 : People’s Democratic Party spokesman Rouf Bhat on Thursday said that the article 370 was a part of the Constitution and it was snatched from us through the back door. He added the Supreme Court is the last hope of people of Jammu and Kashmir who believes the apex court will deliver justice with them.
Speaking to KNS here, the PDP leader Rouf Bhat said Article 370 that held J&K with the Union of India was taken away through backdoor. He said it is an unfortunate that Supreme Court has kept grave silence on the issue and the matter is lingering there for past four years.
He said Supreme Court is the last hope of people of Jammu and Kashmir who has a belief the apex Court will deliver justice to hapless people.
“Article 370 had held constitution of the country and democracy strong but unfortunately it was taken away through backdoor. But still we have high hopes on SC in delivering justice to people of Jammu and Kashmir”, Rouf Bhat said.
