The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Thursday ordered a key administrative posting, transferring Syed Qamar Sajad (JKAS) and appointing him as Director, Tourism, Kashmir, officials said.
As per the government order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), Sajad, who is currently serving as Managing Director, J&K Cable Car Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Director Tourism, Kashmir, against an available vacancy.
The order further states that he will continue to hold the additional charge of Managing Director, J&K Cable Car Corporation in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
According to two separate government orders issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), Mr. Pankaj Magotra, JKAS, who was awaiting adjustment in the department, has been posted as Director, Command Area Development, Jammu against an available vacancy.
Meanwhile, as per Government Order No. 1554-JK(GAD) of 2025, Mr. Vidhu Shekhar, IAS (AGMUT:2021), awaiting adjustment in the GAD, has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, against an available vacancy.
The orders were issued by Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, M. Raju (IAS).
