Says Govt must slap fine of Rs 5 lakh on those hiding travel history, fleeing from qurnatine centres, send them to jail for 6 months.
Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K spokesman Altaf Thakur on Wednesday said that whosover is coming from various parts of India especially those affiliated with the Tableegi Jamaat should not conceal their travel history in any case for the sake of humanity and those fleeing from the quarantine centres should be slapped with Rs 5 lakh fine and six months imprisonment.
“This is irony that despite claiming to be Imams and Moulvis and associates of Tableegi Jamaat, they are hiding their travel history thereby putting hundreds of other people at a great risk. These people should refrain from doing so,”Thakur said in a statement. He also said that those trying to flee from quarantine centres should be slapped with Rs 5 lakh fine and sent to jail for six months.
