Travel Agents Federation of India [TAFI] launched its 12th Chapter of J&K at SKICC , Srinagar with Sarmad Hafeez, Secretary Tourism as the Chief Guest.
Manzoor Pakhttoon Chairman of TAFI– J&K Chapter In his welcome adress appreciated the role played by the TAFI Members-in promoting kashmir as foremost picture
perfect destination. He stressed that promotional activities should continue and all stake holders to be taken on board, so that tourism activity continues year the round.
Mr. AJAY PRAKASH – National President of TAFI assured all possible support to TAFI Members & J&K Tourism. He promised to come back to Kashmir in the month of November with more than 500 Members to explore the un-explored destination.
Mr. Sarmad Hafeez, Secretary Tourism, in his valedictory remarks appreciated the role of TAFI Members in promoting J&K. He assured to take the Travel Trade to Various location PAN India & abroad for further marketing of J&K as a preferred destination. Later Secretary Tourism declared TAFI Chapter open & distributed mementoes to the visiting delegates. In addition to Manzoor Pakhtoon as Chairman, Burhan Misger has
been elected Secretary & Tanveer Khan as Treasurer.
