Tanushree-IPS took over the charge as Senior Superintendent of Police, District Pulwama. On her arrival at District Police Headquarters Pulwama, she was accorded a warm welcome by senior police officers of the district.

A ceremonial Guard of Honour was presented on the occasion. The outgoing SSP, P.D. Nitya-IPS, formally handed over the charge to the new incumbent in a brief and graceful ceremony.
After assuming charge, SSP Tanushree interacted with senior officers and stressed upon maintaining a people-friendly approach in policing. She highlighted the importance of teamwork, discipline, and proactive measures to address public concerns and strengthen police-community relations.
