Accompanied by Block president Zadibal, Musthtaq Beigh, office bearers and other prominent citizens, Tanvir visited all the houses  that had suffered loss and demanded immediate compensation to the affected families and said administration should ensure speedy relief and rehabilitation at all costs.

“The administration should ensure the rehabilitation of the affected fire victims on a war-footing as they were living under the open-sky and  should take account the harsh weather and ensure heating and other arrangements” adding “They should be given free ration and other things till they make arrangements” Sadiq said.

Tanvir also conveyed the urgency of the matter to DC Srinagar Abid Rasheed & requested him to immediately release ex-gratia and do whatever is necessary in ensuring immediate rehabilitation and compensation.  He assured the affected families that he “would leave no stone unturned” in ensuring they get adequate compensation”
