Delhi, Nov 01 : BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh expressed deep shock and sadness over the untimely passing of Devender Singh Rana Ji, MLA, Nagrota, J&K.

Chugh stated, “Devender Rana Ji was a dedicated BJP leader and a true representative of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. His invaluable contributions, warmth, and commitment to service will be remembered by all.”

“This is an immense loss to our BJP family and to the people he served so selflessly. My heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may God grant his loved ones the strength to bear this profound loss,” Chugh added.

Rana Ji’s passing is a significant loss to the political landscape of Jammu and Kashmir. Recently re-elected to the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly from the Nagrota constituency, he was known for his strong advocacy for the Dogra community and his significant contributions to the region.

Born into a Dogra family in Jammu’s Doda district, Rana Ji was the son of former bureaucrat Rajinder Singh Rana and the younger brother of Union Minister Jitendra Singh.

He transitioned from a successful business career to politics, founding the Jamkash Vehicleades Group and a cable TV channel, establishing himself as a notable entrepreneur before joining the BJP in October 2021.

Chugh further stated that the BJP family stands united in grief and extends its support to Rana Ji’s family and loved ones during this challenging time. His sudden demise has left a void in the hearts of many, and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations.
