Srinagar, May 15: A 16-year-old boy from Gundipora village died in a road accident in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday, officials said.

An official at the Sub-District Hospital Beerwah told the Rising Kashmir that the 16 old young person was critically injured in the accident and was immediately shifted to the hospital for treatment.“After being brought to the hospital, doctors declared him dead on arrival,” the official said.

The deceased has been identified as Haris Khan, son of Abdul Majid Khan, a resident of Gundipora village in Tehsil Beerwah.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further investigation into the matter.
