The District Congress Committee (DCC) Srinagar today urged the health department to intensify testing of Covid 19 suspects, on war footing basis.
The Party also sought required medical facilities for other patients in different hospitals in Srinagar.
DCC (Srinagar) President Abdul Gani Khan has said that testing of Covid-19 suspects need to be intensified, on war footing basis, as that, there were reports that testing process of Covid-19 suspects were slightly slow, which has the potential to take some moretime to ascertain the actual number of +ve patients, for that matter, Govt was required make testing kits available, at large scale, in Kashmir, Khan said.
Khan urged the Administration to ensure every required facilities in different hospitals for other patient also, as that, it has been reported that a lady has delivered a baby in a vehicle, yesterday, after she was told to return by the Doctors from Gosya Hospital, which was very disturbing and painful, he said.
I would request the District Administration to ascertain the facts behind the mishandling of the patient and fix he responsibility Abdul Gani Khan added and sought strict action against the responsible persons.
Abdul Gani Khan also hailed Doctors, Nurses and other health workers over tirelessly working and fighting the deadly virus on the frontline, he added and sought every required facilities for them,
