When this universe, or the appropriate term is ‘multiverse’, was created that was the day without yesterday. Almighty Allah Created it. He is all Powerful. In the beginning was the WORD “KUNN”, that the worlds were spoken into existence.
‘Verily, His command, when He intends thing, is only that He says to it,” Be!” and it is!’ [82:36]
‘Is not He, Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Yes indeed! He is the All-knowing Supreme creator.’ [81:36]
Existence of God needs no verification. Instead, as I believe, discourse on this topic may sound blasphemous. All the signs in the universe and presence of all the creatures themselves manifest the Existence of Almighty Allah. Arrival of the sun is itself a proof of its being. I also hold the view that significance of discoveries can’t be denied, instead enjoyed and find effective to help us achieving something.
There is diversity in human temperaments. God creates people unlike in nature and qualities. Even two snow flakes are never identical. There are people who always think on politics and there are people pondering over historical perspectives. There are men obsessed with making money and there are men interested in seeking knowledge. In short, human life is a series of complications, but with all these diversities there is an orchestration. In spite of all this range of human differences one element is common in all men and that is curiosity and seeking reality.
A physicist says: Scientific researches have made the belief in God more credible than it was before. According to this scientist: ‘the set of discoveries that established the existence of exotic matter which led to the conclusions from the scientific community that we now have conclusive proof that the universe was indeed created, and that’s why we say that we’re looking at the face of God.’
Another physicist says: We have proof that life on planet earth was designed by a mind – and that if life did evolve, the capacity to evolve had to be designed in. The word “Evolution” in the English language always refers to an intelligent process (in business, society, technology etc.) and the only usage in which it allegedly doesn’t is naturalistic Darwinian evolution. But communication theory shows us that Evolution by Random Process is a hypothesis without proof.
There is a vast difference between sight and insight, tuition and intuition. People who lack insight take believers as credulous having no reason. They call believers as dreamers. Many at times remark that ‘we are raised to believe in all sorts of nonsense like God and creation. We condition our children to superstitions and easy marks.’ Once I quoted a European, having the same ideas, a remark of Professor Edwin of Princeton University : “This all is not accidental. Who can believe a shake in press can give one a voluminous dictionary.”
Actually, human intelligence is not sufficient to get the real knowledge of God. For this purpose we have to take necessarily the aid of prophets.
Why do we fail to know the Truth? It is because our heart is diseased; as a consequence our potential of heart remains undeveloped.
Heart is not mere a lump of flesh. Had it been like that, then animals too carry it. Heart governs whole system of our body. If it is not intact, there will be misrule in our body. Till our ‘sight’ is on its ‘surface’, it will surface itself in shape of a pump only which circulates blood. It is only insight that can help in its ‘exploration’.
Allama Iqbal says:
“Dili Beena Kar Khuda Say Talab,
Aankh Ka Noor Dil Ka Noor Nahain”
[Seek discerning heart from God. Light of heart is different from the light of eyes.]
The statement of Quran clearly reveals that heart only is capable to realize the reality and external eyes have a limited range of vision.
Take an egg and concentrate on it. Your knowledge will tell you that a yolk and some quantity of albumen are inside. Although you have not broken it, still you are so sure that it contains a yellow yolk and white albumen as if you have virtually seen it with naked eyes.
How do you believe it? May be, this whitely clad egg is carrying no yolk!
Now again contemplate on it. Your knowledge may reveal that if this egg is hatched under required warmth within stipulated time, a chicken will emerge from it provided the egg is with its ‘relevant qualification’.
A chicken!
A little bird with colored wings, pointy nose, eyes, ears, tongue and legs with a complete mechanism and anatomy to run a life. Eyes with light, ears with audio and tongue with voice. It would be having a brain also to pick up and kick up the things. Wonderful! A sovereign and competent entity!
So if you want to discover your heart, it is to be ‘hatched’ under the ‘warmth’ of divine love within the time of ‘every time’.
Albert Einstein wrote:” Everyone who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe–
a spirit vastly superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble.”
So when this universe (infact, a Multiverse) was created, it was a day without yesterday!
