Rehabilitation Alliance Kashmir, an NGO has started a unique initiative to collect used clothes, shoes and other related things including books for needy people and appealed to the populace to help them in assisting the downtrodden section of the society in this initiative.
Rehabilitation Alliance Kashmir’s General Secretary, Waseem Afroz Khan while talking to said that amid the prevailing situation, the NGO is collecting used clothes, shoes, bags, books and other things from the people.
He added that the items that are being collected at present will be distributed among the needy people after Friday prayers till Saturday evening. Khan also said that NGO don’t collect money in this regard, but only collect used clothes, books and other things for the downtrodden section of the society.
“We have already started distributing books among the deserving people while clothes and other related things will be distributed from Friday afternoon till Saturday evening,” he said, adding that timing at present is apt to distribute the used books among the poor students. ( KNO )
