Three Bengaluru residents died as vehicle falls in gorge on Zojila Pass

A tragic accident occurred on Tuesday at Zojila Pass in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, resulting in the deaths of at least three individuals and critically injuring another, according to police reports.

An official stated that the vehicle accident happened near Panimatha as the vehicle was traveling from Sonamarg to Zero Point. The deceased were identified as Champak Das (67), Tandra Das (44), and Monalisha Dass (41), all residents of Bengaluru. The critically injured individual, Aadrita Khan (8), has been evacuated and referred to SKIMS Soura for medical treatment.

Rescue operations are being conducted by a joint team comprising the police, Army, NDRF, SDRF, ITBP, and CRPF.
