According to a press release issued here, the workshop was organised by the Youth Empowerment Society (YES) in collaboration with Komal Library. The initiative aimed to nurture creativity, enhance writing skills, and empower young voices across the region.

The workshop was held from April 10 to April 12.

It featured engaging and insightful sessions conducted by prominent journalists from the valley, including Idrees Bukhtiyar, Akeel Rashid, and award-winning journalist Majid Maqbool.

“Each session provided participants with practical knowledge, guidance, and inspiration to develop their writing abilities and better understand the field of journalism,” the release said.

Participants expressed appreciation for the organisers, describing the workshop as an enriching and motivating experience. They acknowledged the efforts of YES and Komal Library in creating a platform that encourages learning, creativity, and self-expression among youth.

President of the Youth Empowerment Society (YES), Tejveer Singh, said, “We believe that empowering young minds through platforms like this workshop is essential for building a thoughtful and expressive society. The overwhelming response from participants encourages us to continue such initiatives in the future.”

The organisers also extended their gratitude to the resource persons for their valuable time and contributions, and to all participants for their enthusiastic involvement, which made the workshop a success.
