A Police team of Police Station Lar led by SHO Inspector Salfie Arshid under the supervision of Dysp Hqrs. Shri Dr. Abdul Majid Magray-JKPS, raided a gambling site at check yangoora and apprehended three gamblers namely

1.Abdul Rashid pandith s/o Assadullah pandit r/o Kulpora safapora
2.Manzoor Ahmed Bhat s/o Abdul Gani Pandit r/o Treesa Safapora
3.Ab.Rashid Mir s/o Mohammed Maqbool Mir r/o Bonapora Baroosa Gbl. Stake money of Rupees 8950 were seized on the spot.

In this connection case Fir No.01/2021 u/s 13 gambling Act stands registered and investigation taken 
This is in continuation to efforts of Ganderbal Police to curb the social crimes. General public has applauded this police action.
