A boy from Surankote tehsil in Poonch district has topped the KAS exam Anjum Bashir Khan had taken public administration and anthropology as subjects to crack the examination.
“Since my childhood, I wanted to become an administrator and I dreamt of KAS when I was studying in class 9th,”said Anjum
Son of a retired lecturer Bashir Ahmad Khan and middle-school teacher Ghulam Fatima, Anjum is a resident of far-flung Gunthal village.
51 candidates have qualified the examination out of which 36 are from Jammu, 13 from Kashmir and two from Ladakh.
