The Tourism Department organised an interaction-cum-felicitation programme with a South India–based FAM (Familiarisation) group of travel agents currently touring Kashmir. The session focused on gathering feedback, understanding market expectations, and showcasing the Valley’s diverse tourism potential.
The interaction helped strengthen confidence among travel professionals, reinforced Kashmir’s image as a safe and hospitable destination, and aimed to boost tourist inflow from South India through wider promotion and stronger travel trade partnerships.
