Subject to fair weather and better road condition, Light Motor Vehicles (passenger) shall be allowed from Srinagar towards Jammu on Jammu-Srinagar NHW (Commuters are advised to follow the SOP issued by the Govt. to prevent the spread of Covid 19)
CUT OFF TIMING:
- LMVs from Zig (Qazigund) 0700 hrs to 1200 hrs
- No Vehicle shall be allowed after cut off timing.
- HMVs/Load Carriers
Only stranded vehicles between Jawahar Tunnel and Banihal shall be allowed towards Jammu. However, perishable carriers/Oil tankers shall be allowed in the opposite direction subject to traffic situation on NHW.
SFs Convoy Movement
Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. They may ply from Srinagar towards Jammu.
NOTE:- On 25-12-2020 Friday, there shall be no traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar NHW from either side in view of maintenance/repairing of the NHW.
