NHW-44::Subject to fair weather and better road condition, Light Motor Vehicles (passenger) shall be allowed from Jammu towards Srinagar on Jammu-Srinagar NHW (Commuters are advised to follow the SOP issued by the Govt. to prevent the spread of Covid 19)
CUT OFF TIMING:LMVs from Nagrota (Jammu) 0500 hrs to 1100 hrs & from Jakheni (Udhampur) 0600 hrs to 1200 hrs No Vehicle shall be allowed after cut off timing.
HMVs/Load Carriers
Only stranded vehicles between Ramban and Banihal shall be allowed towards Jammu. However, TCU Ramban will co-ordinate for release of oil tankers and fresh perishable carriers in the opposite direction*
SFs Convoy Movement Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW.They may ply from Jammu towards Srinagar
NOTE:- On 27-11-2020 Friday, there shall be no traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar NHW from either side in view of maintenance/repairing of the NHW. Trucks/Load Carriers may adopt Mughal road (From Srinagar towards Jammu). Commuters are advised to plan their journey accordingly .
MUGHAL ROAD
Subject to fair weather and better road condition only downward traffic (load carriers) loaded with fresh fruits shall be allowed from Herpora (Shopian) from 1100 hrs to 1600 hours towards Poonch. No vehicle shall be allowed after cut off timing. Moreover, no passenger vehicle or pedestrian shall be allowed on Mughal Road.
SSG (Leh-Kargil) ROAD
Subject to fair weather and good road condition, only one way traffic shall be allowed on Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari road from Srinagar towards Kargil.
From Sonamarg 1000 hrs to 1400 hrs.
No Vehicle shall be allowed after cut off timing.
Security Forces shall also follow the same schedule .
No vehicle shall be allowed from Gagangir towards Sonamarg between 1800 hrs to 0900 hrs due to slippery condition of the road.
