When truth is hurdled against falsehood , falsehood perishes , for falsehood is by its nature bound to perish.” ( Al-#Qur’an Chapter 17 ,Verse 81 )
The best way to pay tribute to Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and the Martyrs of #Karbala is to stand firm against all kinds of Baatil – the hegemonic powers whose thought and ideology are in contravention to the principles of humanity and morality – and to always keep the flag of Haq (truth) and justice flying high.
To safeguard the thought ( belief ) , teachings and basic tenets of Islam , Hazrat Imam Aali Muqaam (AS), on 10 Muharram-ul-Haram 61 Hijri , along with his brave associates expressed such valour and sacrifice which will continue to guide the entire humanity till the last day.
The richness of the Karbala story is that it is a story born in tragedy , a symbol of resistance against tyranny and a beacon of hope for those who suffer injustice. It is quite essentially a story of epic struggle and has been a reservoir of inspiration for not just muslims but for entire mankind.Gandhi , an exponent of pacifist resistance cites the example of Hussain (RA) , when he says: “ I learnt from Hussain how to achieve victory while being oppressed.”
The narrative of Karbala is powerful and unlocks the most noble of human virtue. It is the elusive combination of justice and spirituality, the synthesis of the noble warrior and other worldly saint, the heart-breaking tale of injustice and poignant narrative of faith which makes this particular event etched in the hearts and minds of countless millions. There is a transcendental resonance about this event.
Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) by refusing to surrender before tyrants ( falsehood ) set an example which acts as torchbearer for those striving for truth (Haq), till the Day of Judgement. The exemplary sacrifices of the Martyrs of Karbala will always guide the Muslims as Imam Aali Muqaam’s (AS) martyrdom in the scorching desert of Karbala is a glorious chapter in the history of Islam and humanity.
By observing Muharram , we remember the spirit of sacrifice and resilience. The sacrifice of Iman Hussain ( AS ) has taught us to be righteous and vocal against injustice and oppression which is a prophetic tradition. The core message of the martyrs of Karbala is to fight valiantly for the just and noble cause and for peace and justice.Karbala teaches us countless lessons about truth , justice and bravery. The core message of the martyrs of Karbala is to fight valiantly for the just and noble cause and to take a stand for peace and justice. May the lessons from Karbala inspire us to embrace compassion , unity , and selflessness in our lives. Let us become righteous and work towards establishing a just society based on justice , brotherhood , equality and human dignity. That will be our greatest tribute to the Martyres of Karbala.
