Two civilians injured after Indo-Pak armies trade gunfire along LoC in Uri

Two civilians were injured after India and Pakistan armies exchanged gunfire at Hajipeer sector, Nambla and Rustum post in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday.

An official told, that this afternoon Pakistani Rangers resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation, resulting in injuries two civilians.

He identified the civilians as Ahmed Sheikh (60) and Maqbool Mangral (20). “Condition of both the injured is stable.”

Senior Superintendent of police (SSP), Baramulla Abdul Qayoom also confirmed that the two civilians were injured by Pakistani shelling in Hajiper sector during ceasefire violation this afternoon.

He said both the civilians were shifted to hospital for further treatment and their condition was stable—(KNO)
