Two doctors terminated for unauthorised absence from duties in J&K

 The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday terminated two doctors with immediate effect on their unauthorized absence.

As per an Order, a copy of which lies with Rising Kashmir, the services of Dr Asim Shameen Zaz, who was appointed as Medical officer and submitted a leave application to the CMO, Budgam for grant of 89 days to attend a marriage function of his niece in Canada, but after the lapse of leave, the doctor did not rejoin the duties.

The govt also terminated the services of Dr Kawaldeep Kour, Medical Officer and she submitted an application for sanctioning of study leave for duration of one year to GMC, Baramulla, but after the lapse of her leave, she did not rejoin her duties.
